Track-Laying Completed for Inner Mongolia Section of Baotou-Yinchuan High Speed Railway
On June 6, the track-laying work for the Inner Mongolia section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High Speed Railway was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the line’s scheduled opening within the year. The Baotou-Yinchuan High Speed Railway is a key part of the Beijing-Lanzhou corridor under China's “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high speed railway network, with a total length of 519 kilometers. Once fully operational, the fastest travel time between Baotou and Yinchuan will be reduced from the current six hours to just two hours.
