Beijing-Hong Kong High Speed Railway (Hefei-Anqing Section) Opens to Traffic on December 22

  On December 22, the Beijing-Hong Kong HSR (Hefei-Anqing section) was put into operation, cutting the shortest travel time between Hefei and Anqing to 1 hour and 13 minutes.

  Located in the southwest of Anhui Province, the Beijing-Hong Kong HSR (Hefei-Anqing section) starts from Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province in the north, passes through Feixi, Shucheng, Lujiang, Tongcheng, Huaining and other cities and counties in the south, and ends in Anqing City. With a total length of 176 km and a design speed of 350 km/h, the Beijing-Hong Kong HSR (Hefei-Anqing section) has 7 stations including Hefei South Station, Feixi Station, Shucheng East Station, Lujiang West Station, Tongcheng East Station, Tongcheng South Station and Anqing Station.
