As of February 18, 2020, construction on 341 work sites of 17 key railway projects directly managed by CHINA RAILWAY, including the Beijing Section of Beijing-Shenyang HSR, the Daxing Airport-Xiong'an Section of Beijing-Xiong'an Intercity Railway, and Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway, has been resumed in succession, where construction of Changde-Yiyang-Changsha Railway and Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua Railway have been fully resumed. Among the total of 116 projects planned to be put into operation or continued in construction this year in railways nationwide, 28 projects and 384 key work sites are currently under orderly resumption of construction, with more than 70,000 people working on site.
Railway construction project management agencies and construction contractors have focused on both the epidemic prevention and control and construction safety and quality, fully implemented the joint prevention and control measures, properly conducted the disinfection and cleaning of construction sites, canteens, dormitories and other key places, and distributed construction personnel with masks, gloves, goggles and other protective articles to ensure their health. At the same time, they have carefully organized the construction, strengthened the collaboration among different units, enhanced the quality and safety control, and orderly promoted the construction of key projects.
