Integrated Commissioning and Test for Newly Built Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway Launched

  The integrated commissioning and test for the newly built Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway officially began on September 25. As soon as the opening and operating conditions are met, EMU train service will be introduced to people visiting Zhangjiajie, a world-class scenic spot, for the first time.

  Extending from the Qianjiang Station of Chongqing-Huaihua Railway to the east, the railway passes through Qianjiang District of Chongqing, the Xianfeng County and Laifeng County of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei, Longshan County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan, and Sangzhi County and Yongding District of Zhangjiajie. Connected with the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway in Zhangjiajie, the railway heads east via Taoyuan County of Changde City, and arrives in Changde City of Hunan Province.

  Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway is a Class-I double-track mixed-passenger-and-freight railway with a total of 15 stations along its way. Currently, the civil engineering and facilities engineering of the Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway has been completed, the power supply, communication and signaling and electrification equipment and the OCL system have all been electrified, the static acceptance has been completed, and the conditions for its integrated commissioning and test are met.
