On January 1, multiple upgraded tourist trains made their debut, offering passengers a unique New Year travel experience. CR-Beijing launched the "Tianjin Travel Time" train service on the Tianjinbei Railway Station to Beijing Railway Station route. The "Tianjin Travel Time" is a themed immersive cultural tourism train where each carriage combines viewing and interactive functions, featuring rotating performances such as drama, song and dance within the carriages.
CR-Qingzang launched its first cross-bureau tourist train of 2026, the "Silk Road Dream", breaking regional operational barriers for tourist trains. It links major attractions including the Ta'er Temple in Qinghai and the Mogao Caves and Mingsha Mountain in Gansu province, connecting the cultural and tourism resources of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Hexi Corridor through the bond of Silk Road culture.
