Heilongjiang Launches Its First Ice-and-Snow Circular Tourist Train of This Winter

 

  

      At 7:25 a.m. on December 28, aboard the Y999/998 “Enjoy Heilongjiang • Silver Travel” tourist train departing from Harbin, Heilongjiang, bound for Yabuli, 240 tourists from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and other regions embarked on a six-day ice-and-snow circular New Year journey, accompanied by the passionate and spirited singing of performers. This marks the first ice-and-snow circular tourist train operated in Heilongjiang this winter. The route will pass through Harbin, Yabuli, Alihe, Mohe and other destinations. The tourist train service will continue through February 2026.

  Focusing on tourist needs, the railway sector has put into service passenger cars retrofitted with age-friendly features, including functional carriages such as a reading lounge and chess and card room. Private compartments and restrooms are equipped with emergency call devices and first-aid equipment. The dining car offers Northeast China-style specialty cuisine and healthy meal options, delivering integrated services that combine rest, leisure and catering.
