The Jilin province section of the Shenyang-Baihe High Speed Railway links the southeastern areas of Tonghua, Baishan and Changbaishan, ending the absence of high-speed rail service in Tonghua and Baishan. It has also enabled a closed-loop fast passenger rail network in northeastern China’s eastern region, further reducing time and space distance.
