During the Qingming Festival holiday railway transportation period, CR-Zhengzhou has seen a high volume of passenger traffic, mainly driven by tourism and family visits. From April 3 to 5, it transported 2.1894 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 72.59%; among which, April 4 saw the highest single-day passenger volume of 864,000 since the beginning of this year.

Taking full advantage of its high speed railway network that stretches in every direction, CR-Zhengzhou has implemented a comprehensive peak operation schedule, operating over 1100 passenger trains during this period. Among them, 13 additional passenger trains were added to popular routes such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou. Additionally, 46 high speed trains running from Zhengzhoudong Railway Station to Zhoukoudong Railway Station, Nanyangdong Railway Station, and Sanmenxianan Railway Station, and from Luoyang Longmen Railway Station to Puyangdong Railway Station and Nanyangdong Railway Station, and other popular sections were operated in coupled or long formation mode to meet the travel demands of passengers within its jurisdiction.

Considering the significant influx of passengers attracted by major events held throughout Henan Province, CR-Zhengzhou has strengthened cooperation with local cultural and tourism authorities. They have increased the density of high speed trains on routes within its jurisdiction and launched multiple "Spring Flower Viewing" trains from Zhengzhou to Luoyang, Jiaozuo, Nanyang, Kaifeng, and other destinations, facilitating national tourists' participation in events such as the Luoyang Peony Festival, the Yuntai Mountain Hanfu Flower Festival in Jiaozuo, the Magnolia Flower Festival in Nanyang, and the Qingming Cultural Festival in Kaifeng.

Furthermore, during peak passenger flow periods, CR-Zhengzhou has added staff outside entrance gates and ticket inspection areas to guide passengers. They have also implemented flexible security checks, adjusting the number of security lanes in response to passenger flow changes to ensure smooth passage. Additionally, they have increased patrols by efficient and capable passenger service personnel at ticketing counters and waiting halls, providing travel guidance and answering questions for passengers. They have also strengthened connections with buses, subways, taxis, and other transportation modes to facilitate passengers' "last mile" travel, making holiday travel more convenient and efficient.
