This year's Qingming Festival holiday passenger flow is primarily driven by short to medium-distance tomb sweeping and spring outings, exhibiting characteristics such as concentrated long-distance passenger flow at the beginning and end of the holiday, a predominance of short-distance passenger flow in the middle, and concentration during specific travel periods. In terms of passenger flow direction, intra-provincial passenger flow in Shandong Province is concentrated towards Jinan, Qingdao, Zibo, Weifang, and Yantai, while inter-provincial long-distance passenger flow is mainly concentrated towards Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Zhengzhou.
Adhering to market demand-oriented principles and precisely implementing the daily schedule approach, CR-Jinan timely adjusted transportation plans, thoroughly explored transportation resources, and orderly deployed transportation capacity. Sparing no effort to meet passengers' holiday travel needs, they also optimized ticketing strategies and accurately matched passenger flow changes.
To address popular destinations, key areas, and peak periods, CR-Jinan has arranged for the addition of 47 pairs of passenger trains, the coupling or increased composition of 34 pairs of high speed trains on popular routes, and the attachment of 77 additional carriages to 22 pairs of normal-speed trains.
