On September 29, amidst the picturesque autumn landscape of Delingha, located on the northeastern edge of the Qaidam Basin, a series of passenger trains majestically arrived at Delingha Railway Station. This day coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival, catering to over 3,500 passengers.

“Since the new station building at Delingha Railway Station was put into use, the passenger volume has doubled compared to the same period in previous years. Once the station construction is fully completed, the station will undoubtedly become even more bustling,” said passenger service duty officer Zhang Zhenrui. The construction he referred to is the improvement project of the Xining-Golmud section of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Delingha Railway Station’s renovation and expansion project is one of the key projects of this improvement, with its main structure completed on June 30 of this year. Some supporting projects within the station are still in progress.

Since the opening of the new station building at Delingha Railway Station, combining the actual transportation needs, the station has organized staff to enhance knowledge during off-duty hours, and through job rotation exercises, they have steadily improved the emergency response capabilities of the staff. These highly skilled and capable employees include 30 minority employees from Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, and Tu ethnic backgrounds, who work together in unity, learn from each other, and strive for excellence to provide passengers with a better travel experience.
