CR railways will implement the new train working diagram from 00:00 on April 8. In consideration of the new railways put into service and the operation adjustment of passenger and freight trains, the new train working diagram will accurately allocate transport capacity resources, and facilitate the smooth operation of the national economy and high-level opening-up.
Firstly, the HSR operation routes will be optimized in Central and East China to enrich passenger travel options. While making full use of Hefei-Wuhan HSR and Hefei-Nanjing HSR to connect Hubei with major cities in the Yangtze River Delta, the railway authority will take Huanggang-Huangmei HSR to be soon open as a connecting line to bring into play the HSR network in Central and East China more efficiently, and increase the HSR routes from Hubei to the Yangtze River Delta region, so as to provide additional passenger travel options. Twenty-four EMU trains will be put into operation from Wuhan and Yichang to Anqing, Chizhou, Tongling, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other cities via Wuhan-Huanggang HSR, Huanggang-Huangmei HSR, Anqing-Jiujiang HSR, Nanjing-Anqing HSR and other HSRs. The adjustment will greatly shorten the travel time from Wuhan to Anqing, Chizhou, Tongling and other cities via Huanggang-Huangmei HSR.
Secondly, the transport capacity of thermal coal will be improved to better serve the stabilized operation of the national economy. Four additional freight trains will be operated from Heshun County to Xingtai South on Xingtai-Heshun Railway to be open soon, mainly serving the demand for eastward transport of coal from Shanxi; the train operation structure of Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway will be optimized, to increase the existing four 10,000-ton heavy-haul trains to eight trains, and further improve the transport capacity of the north-south major channel of coal transport via the heavy-haul railway; four additional coal trains from Watang-Rizhao Railway to Beijing-Shanghai Conventional Railway will be operated by exploiting the transport capacity of conventional railways released due to the operation of Beijing-Shanghai HSR; fourteen additional freight trains will be operated, originating from Xinjiang and via Dunhuang Line and Lanzhou-Qinghai Line, to improve the coal transport capacity from Xinjiang; according to the requirements of the Mid-and-Long-Term coal transport contracts in 2022, 54 additional through freight trains for coal transport across CR regional groups will be operated to further strengthen the transport capacity for guarantee of thermal coal supply.
Thirdly, freight trains for international through traffic and sea-rail intermodal transport will be increased to pursue higher-standard opening up. We will give full play to the corridor capacity of China-Laos Railway and the strategic corridor role of international trains. 4 cross-border freight trains from Kunming East to Mohan, 4 CRE trains and 3 ILSTC trains will be added respectively, shortening the operation intervals of international trains to and from some of cities in China, so as to promote international logistics cooperation and trade development and better serve the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain and higher-standard opening up.
Fourthly, the epidemic prevention and control and passenger and freight transport will be well-coordinated to continuously improve the service experience. Considering both the strict requirements of epidemic prevention and control and the people’s demand for convenient travel, the railway authority will accurately deploy the transport capacity according to the principle of "one day one diagram", continue to do a good job in online services such as extending the time limit for ticket selling and ticket change service at the 12306 website, providing temporary electronic ID documents for passengers and etc., and vigorously promote the offline non-contact services such as check-in, waiting, transfer and meal ordering, and continue providing warm services for key passengers (the old, the young, the sick, the disabled and the pregnant) and the "offline" people; it will renovate the railway equipment and facilities, improve service quality, and further improve the operation of the "slow trains" for public-welfare; it will consolidate the overall upgrading of the railway freight 95306 platform and continuously improve the online whole-process handling of freight service to further enhance the convenience and customer service experience.
Fifthly, proactive prevention measures will be adopted in flood season to ensure the operation safety of passenger trains. The six passenger trains of K1210/09 from Xiamen North to Shanghai South, K242/3 from Xiamenbei to Xi'an and K946/7 from Xiamen to Guiyang operated on Yingtan-Xiamen Railway are adjusted to Nanping-Longyan Railway, Hengfeng-Fuzhou Railway and Beijing-West Kowloon Railway and other lines, to ensure safe operation of such passenger trains.
Railway authority reminds that passengers and consignors can inquire about the operation changes of passenger and freight trains and relevant service information through the 12306 and 95306 websites, mobile APPs, WeChat and other channels, or pay attention to the latest information released by local railway departments and announcements at railway stations, in order to make reasonable arrangement of travels and freight transport.
