At 23:30 on June 3, the Y971 special tourist train departed from Urumqi Station to Yining Station, carrying 336 passengers on their trip to Yili. This is the 30th special tourist train operated by China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. this year.
China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. has fully promoted the development of tourism in Xinjiang on the premise of regular epidemic prevention and control. Xinjiang Railway Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd., has designed and launched the special tourism products with railway advantages and characteristics, thus promoting Xinjiang tourism. In addition to the special trains for spring tourism, revolution-themed tourism, and weekend tourism, China Railway Urumqi Group Co., Ltd. will also organize the operation of special trains for tourism, such as tours around northern Xinjiang, tours to southern Xinjiang, tours across northern and southern Xinjiang, and new orient express this year.
