On August 19, an e-commerce rapid multimodal freight train carrying daily necessities, clothing and accessories and other e-commerce goods departed Wuxinan Railway Station in Jiangsu province and headed north toward Zhoulizhuang Railway Station in Tianjin, marking the successful launch of the e-commerce rapid multimodal freight train service from the Yangtze River Delta to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is also the first such direct service from East China to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
