Import and Export Value via China-Laos Railway Exceeds

20 Billion Yuan in First Seven Months of 2026

　　In the first seven months of this year, the value of imports and exports transported via the China-Laos Railway reached 20.11 billion yuan, up 29.9 percent year-on-year. Imports of tropical fruits from ASEAN countries were valued at 4.92 billion yuan, up 14.9 percent year-on-year, while exports of the "new three" products, such as new energy vehicles and photovoltaic products, reached 2.31 billion yuan, up 306.2 percent year-on-year. The value of cross-border e-commerce B2B exports increased by 150 percent year-on-year, as the foreign trade structure continued to shift toward new growth drivers.
