The CR Cold Fresh Express service has officially entered operation. It uses backpack refrigerated containers to transport fresh produce such as grapes and Hami melons. Each container features independent refrigeration and allows temperatures to be precisely set between -30 C and 30 C. During transport, the system provides 24-hour automatic alerts and real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, location and equipment status.
Fresh produce from Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, including grapes and Hami melons, can now reach Xi'an, Shaanxi province, and surrounding markets within 36 hours — about three days faster than before.
