New Train Schedule to Be Implemented across China's Railways from July 1

Starting from July 1, a new train schedule will be implemented across China's railway network. After the schedule adjustment, a total of 12,174 scheduled passenger trains will be operated, an increase of 106 compared with the current schedule, and 23,975 freight trains will be operated, an increase of 111. Tickets for trains under the new schedule will be available for sale simultaneously. This schedule adjustment leverages the Xi'andong section of the Xi'an-Shiyan High Speed Railway and multiple hub capacity expansion projects to optimize the regional railway network, upgrade passenger transport products, and improve suburban and regional connections.
