Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway Transports 490 Million Tons of Cargo Since Opening

 

  At 8:16 a.m. on February 10, Train 84183 loaded with coal, departing from Jingbiandong Railway Station in Yulin, Shaanxi province, arrived at Xiangzhoubei Railway Station in Xiangyang, Hubei province. This marked the total number of trains operated on the Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway, a major corridor under China’s “north-to-south coal transportation” strategy, surpassing 90,000 since the line opened. In the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the railway has delivered an impressive performance, with its role in ensuring national energy supply and supporting regional economic development becoming increasingly prominent.

  To date, the Haolebaoji-Ji'an Railway has transported a cumulative total of 490 million tons of cargo, effectively reducing logistics costs and improving efficiency, injecting strong momentum into high-quality regional economic and social development.
