Heilongjiang’s First Direct Port-Bound Steel Freight Train Launched

 

      On the morning of November 28, a freight train consisting of 50 wagons and loaded with more than 3,000 tons of steel billets slowly departed from Xilin Railway Station in Heilongjiang, bound for Bayuquan Port in Yingkou, Liaoning province. After arriving at the port, the cargo will be transshipped by water to Southeast Asian countries. This marks the first port-bound direct freight train customized by CR-Harbin this year for local steel enterprises, signaling a new breakthrough by the railway sector in optimizing transport structure and serving the real economy, and opening up an efficient and convenient outbound logistics corridor.
