On April 26, 2016, the “CHINA RAILWAY Food Service” series products started to be served on all the EMU trains running on the network, branded by both CHINA RAILWAY and the food supply enterprises. Cold chained food are mainly served on the train, with more options like steamed stuffed bum, dumplings and noodles offered in addition to the original lunch box and set meals targeting to different regions, seasons, time periods and passengers. More choices reflecting typical local cuisines are also to be supplied.
