Public-Service Slow Train Connects Communities Along Kunming-Hongguo Route

　　

      During the National Day holiday, public-service slow train No. 5652 from Kunming, Yunnan, to Hongguo, Guizhou,   traveled through the scenic landscapes of the two provinces. The green train runs 261 kilometers, with a full-route fare of 36.5 yuan and fares for shorter sections as low as just a few yuan. Connecting more than 10 small stations, it serves as a convenient "public bus" for local villagers traveling to markets with their goods, visiting relatives and making other trips.
