"Foraging Train" Opens Path to Prosperity for Local

Residents in the Greater Khingan Range

　　Train 6245, named "Xing'an Beiji", is a public-welfare slow train operated by China Railway Harbin Group between Jiagedaqi and Gulian. Running through dense forests with tickets starting as low as 4 yuan, it serves as a vital transport link for local mountain foragers. Since August, the train has handled over 5,000 passenger trips, up more than 12 percent year-on-year.
