This year, Golmud Car Operation Depot’s Chaerhan Railway Station has transported over 600,000 tons of potash fertilizers to major grain and cotton-producing areas such as Henan, Hebei, and Shandong. In Xinjiang, trains loaded with fertilizers from countries like Belarus arrive successively through the national border station and are then sold to various places to serve agricultural production. As of now, Xinjiang Railway's national border station has transported over 400,000 tons of imported fertilizers this year.
In Anhui, CR-Shanghai adopts the "direct loading and unloading" method to improve the efficiency of empty car utilization upon arrival of heavy-loaded trains at stations with large volumes of agricultural materials shipments, such as Woyang Railway Station, Yingnan Railway Station, and Bozhou Railway Station, to fully meet the loading requirements. In Hunan, CR-Guangzhou builds an efficient agricultural materials supply and sales "point-to-point" one-stop transportation network to ensure a smooth supply of agricultural materials in the "last mile" and ensure timely delivery to the fields.
