On the morning of March 8, at the Baimasi Forest Farm near the Lanzhou-Lianyungang Railway, over 20 young volunteers from various units of Luoyang departments of CR-Zhengzhou, were voluntarily planting trees. They worked together, each performing their duties: some dug holes with shovels, some planted trees and filled soil, while others watered and irrigated. After working continuously for over two hours, they planted nearly a hundred seedlings, adding a new touch of greenery to the thousands of miles of railways on the Central Plains.

On the 46th Arbor Day, organizations of the Communist Youth League at all levels of CR-Zhengzhou organized more than 100 young volunteers around the theme of "planting trees, protecting the environment, and building a green safety barrier." They engaged in voluntary tree planting, seedling maintenance and management activities at various railway nurseries, passenger stations, and primary and secondary schools along railway lines, fostering a good atmosphere of "everyone sharing a beautiful environment, everyone having the responsibility to plant and protect greenery."

CR-Zhengzhou continues to strengthen greening efforts along railway lines. They implement soil stripping and backfilling, slope protection with frameworks, desertification interception, and a combination of afforestation and grass planting measures to reinforce or protect against soil erosion and preserve the ecological environment along railway lines. By using native and adaptive species, they increase the greening rate of railway lines, actively constructing ecological corridors along railway lines to create a pleasant visual experience for passengers during their journeys.
