At present, apples from Zhaotong, Yunnan are in the picking period. In the morning of December 2, farmers picked, packed and handled the red apples, and then pushed them onto the platform of Zhaotong South Station with carts, waiting for the No. 5647 public-benefit "slow train".

There are "green trains" running between Guiyang, Guizhou and Zhaotong, Yunnan. The "slow train" running on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau stops at 18 small village stations on its 400 km trip. It is an important means of transportation for villagers living in regions along the line and also a "slow train of happiness and high speed train of prosperity" that helps the agricultural products sold to the outside.

Xiaolongdong Village, Xiaolongdong Township, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province is adjacent to Zhaotong South Station, a fifth-class railway station. There are 2,636 households in the whole village, and nearly 90% of them grow apples. More than 18 million kilograms of apples produced annually in the 12,000 mu orchards have become the main economic pillar of the region. It is No. 5647/5648 public-benefit "slow trains" that carry these apples out of the mountains so that the apples can be sold in the markets at a good price and pave for the farmers the way to prosperity.
