At 22:55 on May 1, Y733/732 "Qilu Star" tourist-dedicated train slowly left Linyi station, carrying 228 tourists from Yimeng old revolutionary base area to enjoy a coastal leisure trip in Yantai, which is 400 km away.
This is the first tourist-dedicated train operated by China Railway Jinan Group Co., Ltd. in Linyi this year to meet the travel demands of tourists. During the four-day trip, tourists visited Penglai Fairyland, Weihai Liugong Island, Qi Jiguang's Hometown and other scenic spots, watched the sea and heard the waves, enjoyed the fairyland scenery and the leisure of "slow travel".
"During the epidemic prevention and control period, we stayed at home for a long time. Now this tourist-dedicated train has provided me the opportunity to take my family out for fun." Ms. Cui, a tourist, told reporters that the reason why she and her family, five people in total, chose the railway for travel was because they think the train is safer, and a series of protective measures have been taken on board, making them feel relieved.
To better organize this tourist-dedicated train, Linyi Station has drawn up an organization plan for boarding-alighting in advance and allocated key staff to do a good job in the services of each post. In response to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the station has worked closely with local disease control and epidemic prevention authorities to open up special check-in channel and waiting areas, monitor and record the temperature of checking in/out passengers, optimize the flow route of checking in/out passengers, and ensure that passengers can check in and out quickly and orderly. During the journey of the tourist-dedicated train, the train staff strictly implemented the prevention and control requirements such as temperature monitoring and carriage disinfection, and provided passengers with protective articles such as masks and disinfectant to ensure a safe and comfortable travel.
