The achievement exhibition on the theme of, "Forging Ahead in the New Era," opened on September 27th in Beijing Exhibition Hall. The exhibition, containing over 6,000 exhibition elements, was divided into six zones with eye-catching railway elements found almost in every zone.
The model of Xiongan Station in an outdoor exhibition zone, caught the admiration of visitors as they viewed the water drop-shaped building and the design pattern of solar panels covering the whole roof.
A comprehensive exhibition zone featured the extraordinarily conspicuous "Miracle" sailing ship model, on which the numbers about the change of railway service mileage——topping 150,000 km in 2021 from 98,000 km in 2012 were striking, and the video of railway elements was inspiring.
At the exhibition, all visitors were impressed by the operation of Fuxing Intelligent EMUs on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high speed railway for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the full operation of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link that brought Hong Kong into the national railway network, and Fuxing Plateau EMUs travelling to the roof of the world, which demonstrates the rapid development of China’s railway system.
During the last decade, China’s railway has surged forward with great momentum. These ten years are depicted in the picture scroll, "people travelling pleasantly from place to place and goods transported smoothly to every destination," thanks to the densely-distributed railway network and expanding operation coverage of high speed trains.
