Achievements on High Speed Railways Shining at
China Int'l Services Trade Fair

The 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) kicked off in Beijing on August 31, during which the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. (CHINA RAILWAY) booth garnered the attention of many visitors.

Themed "Cooperate for Better Development, Innovate for a Greener Future" this year, the trade fair serves as an important platform for China to expand, open up, deepen cooperation and spearhead innovation, and has contributed to the development of global service industries and trade. At the CHINA RAILWAY booth, amazing efforts and achievements made since the 18th CPC National Congress were exhibited, to mark the progress of the Chinese railway in building China into a country with great transportation strength, gaining worldwide recognition.

During phase one of the China National Convention Center, models of the Fuxing electric multiple units (EMU) trains, China's bullet trains for the New Era, were the center of attention. Visitors snapped photos of the nine models, such as the Fuxing CR400 series of high speed EMU and the Fuxing Plateau dual-source power-centralized EMU, displayed in the showcase. So far, China has developed a range of Fuxing train products with varying speed grades in the range of 160-350 km/h, and the Fuxing train, branded as "name card" for the country, now reaches all 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of the Chinese mainland.

The Fuxing simulator installed in the center of the booth was especially eye-catching, offering visitors a chance to take a virtual trip in China's Fuxing train.

The exhibition boards also caught the eyes of many visitors. CHINA RAILWAY showcased four sections on its exhibition boards: the construction of high speed rails, transportation and operation, technological innovation, and serving the joint efforts to pursue the Belt and Road Initiative. Through the use of text, pictures and charts, cutting-edge technologies as well as new applications and achievements concerning the key areas of China's railway cause were displayed.

This year's CIFTIS featured a special exhibition area displaying China's service trade achievements, showing the development and contribution of China's service trade in the past ten years. The running "Fuxing" EMUs and the freight trains of CR Express impressed viewers, demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of the CHINA RAILWAY in developing China's service trade.
