As of the morning of July 8, cumulative cross-border freight transported via the China-Laos Railway has exceeded 20 million tons since its opening, with more than 23,000 cross-border freight trains operated.
Currently, freight transported via the China-Laos Railway covers 19 countries and regions, including Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangladesh. The types of commodities transported have expanded from more than 10 varieties at the initial stage of operation to more than 3,800 varieties.
