Since the opening of the China-Laos Railway, as of April 7 this year, the total import and export value via the railway has exceeded 80 billion yuan. The China-Laos Railway is becoming a highly efficient two-way trade corridor that facilitates "Made-in-China" products going south and Southeast Asian specialties going north. The variety of imported and exported goods has expanded from more than 500 categories in the initial period of operation to over 3,800 categories, with transportation services covering more than 6,000 enterprises nationwide and radiating to 19 countries and regions including Laos and Thailand. The vitality of this "golden corridor" continues to surge.
