The TAZARA Railway, which connects the heartland of Africa to the Indian Ocean, is hailed as a monument to Sino-Africa friendship. Built in the 1970s, this railway continues to drive the economic and social development of Zambia and Tanzania, benefiting the people of both countries.

The TAZARA Railway links the Tanzanian port city of Dar es Salaam with Kapiri Mposhi in Zambia's Central Province, spanning approximately 1,860 kilometers. It provides landlocked African countries with a new route to the sea, transforming resource advantages into economic growth. Today, the TAZARA Railway remains a crucial player in freight and logistics, supporting Zambia's economic development.

From the historic TAZARA Railway to the more recently operational Abuja-Kaduna Railway, Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway, and Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, and now to the ongoing construction of the Tanzanian Central Line Standard Gauge Railway, the network of Sino-Africa friendship routes continues to expand across the African continent, accelerating development and enhancing the well-being of African people.
