The operation of the China-Laos Railway (Zhengzhou-Vientiane) international freight train has provided local enterprises along the route with widened channels for raw materials, reduced transportation time for goods, and lower production and logistics costs. Consequently, it has facilitated economic and trade exchanges and cultural interactions between Henan Province and Laos as well as the entire ASEAN region. The regular operation of this freight train will further deepen the open pattern centered on railway ports in central China, promote connectivity with the CRE trains, and help to build a stable, efficient, and economical corridor between China, Europe, and ASEAN, providing strong support for global freight connectivity.
