Since the first rail-sea intermodal service of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor began in 2017, total container volume has reached 2.559 million TEUs. With Chongqing as the operation center and multiple provinces and regions in western China as key nodes, the corridor uses rail, sea and road transport to move goods southward via coastal and border ports in Guangxi, Yunnan and other areas, connecting to destinations around the world.
