Guangxi Charts New Path for Open Development

 

  

     Since the 14th Five-Year Plan, Guangxi has continuously strengthened the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. The total container throughput of Beibu Gulf Port has reached 36.4755 million TEUs, with 91 container shipping routes. Trains along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor have cumulatively transported over 4.3 million TEUs of goods, reaching 577 ports in 127 countries and regions worldwide. Meanwhile, the Guiyang-Nanning High Speed Railway has been put into operation and the Qinzhou automated terminal is operational, creating a denser three-dimensional transport network. The Pinglu Canal, the backbone project of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, is under intensive construction and is expected to be completed and navigable by 2026.
