Qingdao Opens "Southwest Rail-Sea Cruise Corridor" for Passengers

At 5:36 on September 10, train Z316 carrying 240 cruise passengers departed from Chengdu and arrived at Qingdaobei Railway Station. These passengers then boarded their cruise ship at Qingdao Cruise Home Port for a five-day, four-night voyage to Japan and the Republic of Korea. This marked the first successful operation of the "Southwest Rail-Sea Cruise Corridor" for passengers, jointly promoted by Shandong Port Cruise Development Group and CR-Jinan Qingdao Railway Station. It also signified a major breakthrough in the deep collaboration between the railway system and port groups to build an innovative model of "integrated transportation + cruise services."
