Central Asia Freight Trains (Wuhan) Achieve Regular Operations
On April 12, the X9011 train, carrying steel, air conditioners and other goods, departed from Wujiashan Railway Station under CR-Wuhan, and is expected to reach Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, in 10 days. This marks the first regularly scheduled train for the Central Asian Freight Train from Wuhan.
According to a CR-Wuhan official, with the regular operation of this new foreign trade channel, the railway cargo capacity between Wuhan and Central Asia will double. The types of cargo will shift from bulk goods to items like automobiles and steel, helping reduce costs for market players expanding internationally.
