Around 4:00 PM on March 10, a dedicated train loaded with 44 20-foot containers of new energy photovoltaic glass slowly departed from the Chenzhounan Freight Yard in Hunan. These goods, transported by rail to the Port of Nansha in Guangzhou, were then shipped by sea to Vietnam. This marks the first time Hunan's photovoltaic products have traveled abroad via a sea-rail combined transport train.

Since the beginning of this year, CR-Guangzhou has actively utilized its advantages in green, efficient, and convenient transportation, expanding the market for untaxed goods transportation, and increasing efforts in implementing "road-to-rail" transportation, thus helping to reduce logistics costs across society.

Since February, the freight department of CR-Guangzhou and the marketing team of the Changsha Railway Logistics Center have delved into understanding the transportation needs and methods of CR-Guangzhou, systematically reviewed the transportation process, discussed marketing strategies, and tailored sea-rail combined transport train services for CR-Guangzhou.

On the other hand, the marketing team has strengthened coordination with the Chenzhou International Land Port. Through road transport, goods are transported from CR-Guangzhou's warehouse to the Chenzhounan Freight Yard. After completing customs declaration, bill of lading verification, and checkpoint inspection and release procedures at the Chenzhou International Land Port customs supervision site, the goods are then transported by rail to the Port of Nansha for export, providing comprehensive logistics services for CR-Guangzhou's product exports.

The freight marketing team is also devising a comprehensive logistics solution for CR-Guagnzhou's photovoltaic glass shipments to Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. The project is expected to commence in April, with plans to operate a train every two days, transporting approximately 150,000 tons of goods annually, thereby reducing CR-Guangzhou's transportation costs by nearly 2 million yuan per year.
