I. Operation of international trains

II. Ticketing for international trains

CR Beijing Group is responsible for ticketing for Z5/6 international trains, and China International Travel Service is responsible for ticketing for other international trains and international through trains.

(II) China International Travel Service (CITS)

CITS is responsible for ticketing for No. K3 Beijing-Ulan Bator-Moscow, No. K23 Beijing-Ulan Bator, No. K27 Beijing-Pyongyang, No. K19 Beijing-Moscow international (through) trains.

(II) China Railway Travel Service (CRTS)

CRTS is responsible for ticketing for No. Z5/6 Beijing- Hà Nội Gia Lâm international through train.

(3) Fees and charges

Item 7, Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions on International Through Traffic Transport stipulates that ticketing offices of travel agencies may collect 50 yuan of extra service charge in addition to the prescribed ticket fare.

 

III. Notes for passengers

1. When traveling in a sleeper coach or a seat-sleeper coach, every passenger is entitled to take with him/her for free a child under the age of 4, who shall not occupy a separate sleeping berth. Children under the age of 4 who occupy sleeping berths must buy sleeper tickets and children’s tickets. If a passenger takes more than one child under the age of 4, they must buy children’s tickets for all the children except one. Each sleeping berth occupied by a child shall be issued with a sleeping berth ticket.

Children aged 4-12 shall travel with children’s tickets. If a child occupies a separate sleeping berth, a sleeping berth ticket must be bought for him/her.

The age of the child on the date of the start of the train ride shall prevail in determining the fare for the child.

2. If the passport administrative regulations permit, passengers have the right to get off at a midway station within the validity period of the ticket, regardless of the number and time of their alighting. The validity period of the ticket shall not be prolonged if you get off the train halfway. Passengers should submit tickets within three hours of the arrival of the train in order to record their alighting.

3. For each ticket, an adult passenger may take belongings of 36 kilograms or less with him/her, and a child under the age of 12 may take 15 kilograms or less.

Passengers with foldable baby carriages or wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, nevertheless, are allowed to take them aboard as belongings beyond the prescribed standards. Passengers shall check in the excess baggage.

Passengers can use the prescribed place in the carriage to place their own belongings.

It is forbidden for passengers to take animals with them in the carriages of international trains except domestic animals (dogs, cats and birds).

Animals are only allowed to be transported in separate compartments in a second-class carriage, and no more than two animals are allowed in one compartment. Also, passengers must pay the fare and sleeping berth fee according to the number of sleeping berths in the compartment.

Transport of animals is forbidden if separate compartments cannot be provided for the animals.

Passengers shall make sure that their belongings are in good conditions and take good care of their domestic animals (dogs, cats, birds, etc.)

Passengers shall be fully responsible for the violation of hygienic requirements by the animals or birds they take with them, and must ensure that the carriages are cleaned accordingly.

4. Transport of following items as belongings is forbidden:

4.1. Items that can damage or dirty the carriage or cause damage to other passengers or their belongings;

4.2. Flammables, items prone to ignite, self-ignitable items, explosives, radioactive substances, toxic and corrosive articles;

4.3. Weapons loaded with ammunition;

4.4. Items that can cause infection or odor;

4.5. Articles transport of which is forbidden by customs and in other regulations;

4.6 large items with a total length of more than 200cm in length, width and height

5. During the international railway transport of passengers, luggage and parcels, passengers and senders shall compensate the carrier, the operator of the vehicle and/or the third party for the loss suffered as a result of the valuation of the property.

6. During international railway transport, senders and recipients of passengers, luggage and parcels are required to comply with regulations on passport (including visa) and customs and other rules acted upon themselves and their belongings, luggage and parcels. Carriers have no right to supervise the implementation of the above regulations or rules (except as provided in international agreements on rail transport), nor are they responsible for the noncompliance with the above regulations or rules of senders or recipients.

7. Senders of passengers, luggage and parcels shall perform the Agreement on International Railroad through Transport of Passengers and comply with the national laws of the countries involved in the transport. The passengers shall not endanger the safety of others.
