On September 10, a Trans-Caspian CRE train loaded with machinery, equipment and parts, electronic products and daily necessities departed from the China-Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) Logistics Cooperation Base. The train will leave China via Horgos Port, with its containers then transported by barge from Aktau Port in Kazakhstan before arriving in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. It is the first full-train Trans-Caspian service launched from Lianyungang since Phase I of the Aktau Port Container Hub was put into operation.
