In the first quarter of this year, customs supervised a total of 42,000 TEUs of export containers on "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" CRE trains, up 21.5% year on year, achieving a strong start in the first quarter of 2026.
In Q1, the "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" CRE trains not only registered steady growth in transport volume but also saw continuous optimization of the transport structure, with strong export momentum for high-value-added "Zhejiang-made" intelligent products. In addition to traditional goods such as electronic products and daily necessities, high-value commodities including solar photovoltaic panels, auto parts, and intelligent electronic devices increasingly appeared on the train export cargo list, highlighting the strong strength of Zhejiang's advanced manufacturing industry.
As one of the important CRE train consolidation hubs in China, the "Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe" service has now opened 26 stable operating routes, reaching over 160 cities in more than 50 countries and regions across Asia and Europe. Its outbound shipment volume has long ranked first in the Yangtze River Delta region and among the top nationwide, making it a vital logistics channel for "Zhejiang-made" products to reach the world and connect Belt and Road partner countries. The service drives the export of over 100,000 types of goods to overseas markets annually, injecting robust momentum into the growth of regional foreign trade.
