Demonstration Zone Hit Record High for Same Period

        In the first quarter of this year, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Demonstration Zone operated 253 CRE train trips, up 2.43% year on year, transporting a total cargo weight of over 170,000 tons, up 3.10% year on year. Both the number of train arrivals and departures and the freight volume reached record highs for the same period. Since the start of construction of the SCO Demonstration Zone in 2018, it has cumulatively handled 5,729 CRE train trips, transporting 470,000 TEUs of containers and 3.97 million tons of import and export cargo, further demonstrating its role as an international logistics hub.
