Alataw Pass Handles Over 7,000 CRE Trains This Year
At 16:00 on November 26, a CRE train loaded with machinery and equipment, auto parts, electronic products and other goods departed from Alataw Pass, bound for Malaszewicze, Poland. As of that day, the number of CRE trains handled by Alataw Pass this year had exceeded 7,000, injecting new momentum into high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
Since the beginning of this year, CR-Urumqi has focused on supporting Xinjiang’s role as a golden Asia-Europe corridor and a gateway for westward opening-up. Through refined dispatching and command, smoother border transport organization, and continuous enhancement of capacity along the western corridor for CRE train services, CR-Urumqi has promoted the development of these services toward higher quality, better efficiency and greater safety.
