CRE Trains in Yangtze River Delta Made Stage Success

CR regional groups in the Yangtze River Delta, following the philosophy to “start strong”, have overcome negative impacts brought by bad weather such as rainfall, snowfall, freezing temperatures and storms, to enhance collaboration between railway regional groups and local governments, and optimize the quality of transport service. As of January 31, 190 CRE Trains departed from Yangtze River Delta, making stage success.

　　 Considering huge demands for CRE Trains in Yiwu, CR has broken the norm the CRE Trains do not operate during the Spring Festival Holiday, organized container loading and unloading, piling, customs clearance, loading and unloading, and delivery of empty and full loaders, so as to serve the CRE trains 24 hours a day. On January 22, the first day of the Chinese New Year, the CRE Trains (Yiwu) set a new record of operating 11 trains a day. The regional group has also worked closely with the local port to add 300 temporary storage positions in the container yard by adjusting the storage available, thus increasing the storage capacity by 30%.
