The First CRE Trains in Chinese New Year 2023 Departed from China's Greater Bay Area

On January 22, a CRE train departed from Freight Yard of Zengchengxi Railway Station in Guangzhou, thus becoming the first one of a kind in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the Chinese New Year. The freight train, carrying 106 TEUs loaded with 56,000 pieces of goods produced by enterprises in Guangdong, including clothing, shoes, hats, home appliances, etc. During the 2023 Spring Festival Travel Season, 35 CRE trains are expected to depart from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao GBA.
