Recently, the safety standard demonstration line integration test on the Beijing-Shenyang section of the Beijing-Harbin High-Speed Railway was successfully completed. The Fuxing EMU trains achieved a maximum test speed of 385 km/h, and all equipment indicators performed well. After acceptance evaluation, the Fuxing EMU trains on the Beijing-Shenyang section of the Beijing-Harbin High Speed Railway will be able to operate routinely at the high standard speed of 350 km/h. This will effectively shorten the time-space distance between cities along the route and further enhance the passenger travel experience.
The Beijing-Shenyang section of the Beijing-Harbin High Speed Railway is part of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network, forming the Beijing-Harbin Corridor to the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Corridor. The line stretches 708 kilometers, passing through Beijing, Hebei and Liaoning provinces. It connects the core area of coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the modern metropolitan area of Shenyang, holding a key trunk line status. Since the opening of the Beijing-Shenyang section in 2021, it has maintained safe and stable operations and has been well received by passengers. With the establishment of the safety standard demonstration line on this section, Fuxing EMU trains between Beijing and Shenyang will regularly run at the high standard speed of 350 km/h, further unleashing the overall efficiency of the high-speed rail network, strengthening connections between cities along the line, and injecting new momentum into regional economic and social development.
