The 2023 Spring Festival travel season saw a considerable recovery of railway passenger and freight transport numbers. In the first 20 days of the season, CR transported 143 million passengers, an increase of 35.6% compared to the same period of last year, and transported 259.93 million tons of goods. By the conclusion of Spring Festival holiday, CR transported 50.17 million passengers, an increase of 57% from the previous Spring Festival holiday.
