Beijing-Wuhan Section Passed Trial Test, with All Indicators Up to Standard

The person in charge introduced that CHINA RAILWAY had upgraded and repaired the equipment and facilities concerning rails, bridges, tunnels, traction power supply, and communication & signaling, as well as video surveillance and disaster monitoring systems. It has also built a high speed railway safety guarantee system that integrates manual, physical, and technological protection measures. All of these projects have been completed as scheduled with high quality. The trial test plays a key role in the all-around examination of the project quality. The test used a Fuxing EMU and a high-speed comprehensive inspection train, with an overall check on the tracks (both up and down direction), bridges, communication, signaling, and overhead contact system. All systems and the overall performance have been scientifically tested in line with the requirements for high-standard operation at 350 km/h. The result shows that all indicators are up to relevant standards. Once passing the safety assessment and project acceptance afterward, the Beijing-Wuhan section of the Beijing-Guangzhou HSR is scheduled to operate at 350 km/h from June 20.
