Jiangxi-Fujian Railway Achieves Remarkable Results in Making up Passenger Transport Decrease with Freight Transport Increase

During the Spring Festival travel rush this year, China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd. strengthened the communication with ports and power plants to monitor the production information of power generation enterprises, and established and improved the early warning mechanism for low coal reserves. At the same time, it opened up green channels for the thermal coal transport, and preferentially arranged the delivery, loading and unloading of thermal coal. According to the thermal coal transport, delivery and car unloading capacity of power generation enterprises within its operation scope and the daily thermal coal reserve at the ports, China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd., through scientific organization and arrangement, coordinated the ports to preferentially handle and transport the thermal coal, and made every effort to ensure that the coal reserve in power generation enterprises is not less than 7 days' consumption.
During the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush, China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd. loaded 28,970 cars and unloaded 43,287 cars of thermal coal, which better met the coal needs of enterprises and the public.
