Nearly 90% of Planned Investment for China-Laos Railway (China Section) Completed

On the morning of October 15, after more than 1,500 days of hard work by builders, Nanlianshan Tunnel, one of the key control projects of China-Laos Railway undertaken by China Railway 22nd Bureau Group Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. This is the longest single-track long tunnel holed through on China-Laos Railway at present, which creates conditions for subsequent bridge erection and track laying. So far, 82 of 93 tunnels of China-Laos Railway in China have been holed through, and 97.6% of the tunnel works in China have been completed, laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening-to-traffic of the whole railway next year. Up to now, nearly 90% of planned investment for China-Laos Railway (China section) has already be completed.
