During the China International Import Expo, a large number of businessmen will enter and leave Shanghai by rail. To this end, China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. actively assisted Shanghai Municipality in opening the 1.5km underpass from Shanghai Hongqiao Hub to the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) on schedule, participated in the operation of the short-shuttle battery carts in the underpass, to ensure the battery carts run at an interval of 5 minutes during rush hours and to provide the buyers, exhibitors and visitors who alight at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station can enjoy the 6-minute direct service provided by the railway sector to the Expo site without leaving the station. China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. also provided professional training for the drivers of battery carts, in order to guarantee the safety and comfort of short-shuttle services by strengthening speed control, safety alert and lookout.
