Chinese Tea Transported by CR Express on the Silk Road

  Early in the morning on September 4th, more than 10 loading staff carefully loaded 1040 Enshi black tea into No.44502 freight train at Yichangdong Railway Station which departed at 3:32 a.m. The batch of tea with the flavor of Wuling Mountain would be transported to Sudan by CR Express via Wuxi Railway Station, Xinjiang within 15 days, bringing Chinese tea to local people.

  Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is one of few origins of Se-enriched tea. With unique nutrient components and taste, local tea varieties such as “Enshi Dewdrop” and “Lichuan Red” are quite popular with domestic and overseas customers. At the beginning of this year, informed that Beijing Xinsaiou International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. undertook part of foreign trade export of Enshi tea, China Railway Wuhan Group Co., Ltd. carried out tea market survey, arranged freight staff to visit local tea farmers and helped the freight company make “tea plant + truck + train” road-railway combined transport scheme, promising to transport Enshi tea to the destination within the required time.
